Our mission at Girls United is to make a positive impact on the girls in our community by providing a safe and empowering environment for them to grow and learn. We want to raise the standards of how we treat each other, how we treat ourselves, and how we treat the world. We focus on soccer and skateboarding fundamentals, building self-esteem, and creating friendships along the way. Our hope is to unite young girls and give them the confidence to become powerful young women through sports and adventure.
We believe that skateboarding is an awesome tool to build confidence, resilience and make new friends. We welcome all female skateboarders of all levels and age groups throughout our community. Our mission is to create a safe and inspiring space to progress while promoting confidence, leadership, and empowerment to girls and women within our community through skateboarding.
We offer free skate clinics once a month here in Petaluma. Our meet-ups are divided up by age and level. Our program is designed to empower the girls through encouragement, inclusiveness, and friendship. Please join our Facebook group and follow us on Instagram to stay up to date on our events.
