CAMP IS OUR JAM!

A place to belong

Girls United Summer Day Camp offers all the excitement and adventure of our overnight camp, with activities like capture the flag, counselor hunt, water day, dance offs and the famous talent show at the end of the week. We’ve expanded our program to reach more girls in our community, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Whether it’s through silly games, or creative fun, our camp provides a place of belonging where every girl can feel empowered, make new friends, and create lasting memories.

A Fresh Take on Summer Day Camp!

This year, we’re thrilled to introduce a more dynamic and inclusive camp experience. By moving away from sport-specific programming, we’ve created a classic camp atmosphere that blends the best of all worlds. We are expanding our arts and crafts program to include tie-dye, STEM style fort building and of course bracelet making. There’s something for everyone to enjoy—including exciting theme days like Water Day, Neon Day, and our can't-miss Talent Show on Friday!

CIT Program - Junior Leadership

Accepting applications for girls entering 8th and 9th grade in the Fall

Our Leadership Training Program is offered at no cost to participants if accepted.

Girls United Counselor in Training (CITs) are vital to our camp community! This is a great opportunity to build leadership skills and boost your confidence by encouraging younger campers to be themselves and take chances—all while having a blast this summer!

CITs will take on important leadership roles during both weeks of our Day Camp. Each CIT is paired with a Lead Counselor who will mentor them throughout daily activities, helping to enhance their leadership abilities. CITs will participate in team-building exercises, brainstorm, and lead engaging activities for our campers, fostering collaboration and creativity.

  • EMPOWER

At camp, empowerment is at the heart of everything we do! Here, every girl is encouraged to step outside her comfort zone, embrace new challenges, and discover her unique strengths in a supportive and uplifting environment.

  • ENGAGE

At camp, the camper-counselor relationship is a cornerstone of engagement! Our counselors are dedicated to fostering meaningful connections, guiding girls through exciting activities and providing personalized support, ensuring that every camper feels valued and empowered to fully embrace their experience.

  • INSPIRE

At our camp, we inspire girls to dream big and become great people beyond their time with us! Through fun, crazy games and our unique “campwork” assignments—like homework, but better—we challenge them to look beyond themselves and focus on kindness and community. This helps empower them to take their newfound confidence and make a positive impact in the world.
